GVST Group arrives in Milan
GVST Group, events agency based in Rome since 1992, starts the new year with an important news.
The agency, indeed, opens a new office in Milan and entrusts Maria Luisa Ciccone as General Manager of this branch. She is an experienced professional in the world of events organization, incentives and incoming projects.
Ciccone joins GVST Group after her experiences as Managing Director at Made in Uvet, an incoming agency owned by the Uvet Group created for EXPO Milan 2015. Previously she was the CEO of Incentive Power and Event that in 2011 launched Italy Destination, the incoming division of the agency.
“I know Luca and Andrea Vernengo for many years and I respect them both as professionals and as people – Ciccone says, and continues: “I agree with both of them about the strategic vision and the approach towards clients, with whom we have built trusted relationships over the years”.
The twofold office of the Group will contribute to the development of business policies towards Italian and foreign companies. “My experience in the incoming sector has made me realize that to have an HQ in Rome is a strategic decision” Ciccone adds: “Great events of foreign agencies and companies cannot be separated from Italian capital. However, thanks to the success of EXPO 2015, Milan has experienced a new thrust, new locations have been inaugurated to host big events, the city itself has been renewed and It breathes a new really buzzing atmosphere. Therefore to have an office in this two cities is crucial.”
