Applying sustainable management and organizational methods, we create quality events for a quality environment.

GVST’s commitment to event sustainability is implemented through specific methods of service delivery, constantly targeted at reducing CO2 emissions and resource consumption. The main areas of action are:

  • headquarters operations;
  • energy consumption;
  • transportation;
  • food services;
  • water management;
  • waste management;
  • purchasing policies, use of reusable and recyclable materials;
  • communications.


After several successes in organizing ecofriendly events, GVST has created its own green DMC: GREENIT®. The brand new DMC assist its clients with the organization of sustainable and ecofriendly tours and incentives in Italy.


Through cooperation with LifeGate, all the emissions produced by GreenIT® programs and FriendlyEnvent® events are compensated by the Zero Impact® project. This project quantifies environmental impact by calculating C02 and greenhouse-gas emissions and compensation through creation and management of new forests in Italy and elsewhere. We are Lifegate Ambassador since 2014.


Thanks to the collaboration with EquoEvento Onlus GVST Group is committed in reducing food waste, respecting the environment, helping, encouraging and sharing.

For each event organized in Italy, GVST Group gives the food surpluses to charity organizations, family homes, poor and needy.


Responsible Tools

GVST secures its full support in putting together responsible tools thanks to a consolidated know-how on social responsibility topics, a good network of relations with institutions, corporations, ONG’s and experts. Moreover GVST can help clients to understand and use those tools strategically, diffusing knowledge, experiences and ethical and social communication.


Furthermore GVST develops sustainable communication plans thanks to eco-information campaigns raising the participants awareness towards social and environmental subjects.


GVST shared its experience through environmental awareness workshops during the annual Best Event Awards. The company sponsored the innovative BEA prize for Best Eco-sustainable Event, the first award created to highlight Green events in the MICE industry.

Communications academy

Collaborating with Milan’s Active Theatre Centre, GVST has developed the “Communications Academy”, with courses in Public speaking, expressive voice and diction techniques, employment interview preparations, team building and team strength.

Every Christmas season, GVST supports the Friends Association of the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (Mumbai, India), active for more than 20 years in education, cultural promotion, social and health assistance for thousands of children around the world.
